Due Date is Missing

Hi there,

I got an issue, I cannot see field "Due Date" in my JSM project issue view, the situation is like this

I can see Due Date in customer portal,  it's a required field in issue creation request form, but after submit ticket, I cannot see it in "Issue View".
In project settings, I can see this field in request form tab, but cannot be found in issue view tab, it's not in suggested field either.

I checked screen settings, this field is in both create issue screen and edit issue screen, not really sure why I cannot see this field in my JSM project, I also checked other Jira software project, I can see it.

Any possible solutions to fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

Jack

Hi @Jack Yang Not a great solution, but can you remove it from the create/edit screens. Then go back into the issue tab, refresh it and see if you can add it back in there. I wonder if it will help "refresh it".

Hi @Jack Yang ,

You said that the field is in the create issue screen and edit issue screen, but is it also in the view issue screen?

Hi Carlos, thanks for your response.

Yes, there are 2 screens in the screen scheme, and "Due Date" is already in both screens.Screenshot 2025-02-17 at 3.59.36 PM.png

Hi @Jack Yang Navigate to the project's Permission Scheme and check whether your role or group is included in the Schedule Issue permission grant. Ensure that you are a member of the assigned role or group.

Also, make sure the issue screen associated with issue View/Edit operation does have Due Date field included in them.

Hi Akash, thanks for you reply.

Yes, I have schedule issue permission in this project, and "Due Date" is already in edit/view issue screens.

@Jack Yang Could you also check if the field is hidden in the Field Configuration Scheme for the issue type?

Also, verify if any installed apps might be modifying the UI to hide the field, such as Behaviours in ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud.
