Display a field in minimized sidebar issue view

When I'm in Backlog view, and I click on an issue to open it minimized in the sidebar, I want to see the Acceptance Criteria field.

We can see Acceptance Criteria when we open the full view of the issue.

We cannot see the Acceptance Criteria field when we just have it open in the sidebar. To get around not seeing it, they've been writing AC in the descriptions of issues.

My team would like it to show in the sidebar. Is there a setting to configure what fields display when issues are opened minimized in the sidebar of Backlog view?

Yes there is. You need to be a Board Admin - then here's how to do it:

1. Click Board in the upper-right corner and select Configure
2. On the left-hand menu, select Issue Detail View
3. Select your field and press Add

Then the field will appear in the right-hand view
