Disable workflow: All sub-tasks closed automatically closing the Story

Bob Yu January 2, 2019

Hi,

I know a lot of people wants to have this feature turned on, I'm trying to disable this particular flow in Jira.

When you have a Story with many Sub-tasks, once the member close all the Sub-tasks, automatically the Story(parent ticket) get closed. Before we we can close it completely, there are other step before closing it.

Was wondering if anyone know which workflow is in Jira that trigger that function, thanks.

you need to use Workflow condition not function.

Hi Gurpreet,

Thanks for the reply. Here are some additional information below, hereby attached a screenshot :Screen Shot 2019-01-04 at 10.51.25 AM.png

Do you think the Workflow is triggered inside the Parent Workflow status or Sub-tasks Workflow Status? Because I looked I couldn't find it, maybe it is some other rules somewhere else?

What I'm trying to resolve if this screen(Update Parent Issue) can be customize, instead going to Close Status, I want to put inside Resolved Status, thanks.
