I have a Service Desk use case where the host SD instance is not exposed to the public. Requests come in through an e-mail channel, and public replies are sent via e-mail.
I am trying to attach files to public replies. However, these are transmitted as hyperlinks which (since the desk is not exposed to the public) can't be followed.
Is there a way to configure the behavior to attach the file directly, instead of as a hyperlink?
Out of box JIRA does not have this feature, please vote on JRASERVER-6207. Your question has been answered in How do I include attachments in JIRA notification emails?
