I'd like to say this is user error but it happened now multiple times so here it goes to see if you have any ideas, as I don't know where to start.
We're on Jira DC v9.12.14.
The scrum master edits the sprint and original/ remaining time estimate values on defect type issue, apparently without editing touching the description field. Upon saving the changes, the issue history shows the record for the mentioned fields along with description content change - as if he also edited the description text and deleted the last paragraph starting from half sentence. Very odd.
I've set a context for the description field a good while ago now, for defects only for the same project and no issues were reported since it was added in. We just get the bullet points in the create screen to provide a template for testers. There's no other description field related workflow automation set. I have only one user noticing this problem and not on all defects he edits.
Has anyone seen any bugs similar to this? I think I'll probably need to log a support ticket but wanted to check in on here.
