Dear Atlassian Community,

in the frameworks of Jira Cloud migration we have migrated all work logs from Jira on Premise into Jira Cloud. We have used/are using Tempo in both instances. Starting from the January, 1st 2025 all time tracking activities are performed solely in Jira Cloud. Thus, the Time Tracking work logs made prior to January 1st, 2025 have to be deleted from Jira Cloud now. By these means we are aiming to conduct  time tracking data clean up.

What would be the best way to delete those massive amount of work logs from Jira Cloud? Deleting work logs in bulks as described here https://help.tempo.io/timesheets/latest/deleting-worklogs-in-bulk doesn't fit in this case because we have a great amount of work logs and the bulk deletion is available only for 5.000 logs at once.

Thank you in advance for your support on this topic.

Best regards

Maryna

Hi @Maryna Clement and welcome to the Community!

Given this is a pretty specific request, related to cloud migration and Tempo, it is probably best to reach out directly to Tempo support directly. Access to their help center can be found on the Tempo Timesheets listing on the Atlassian Marketplace. They might have target advice or may even be able to help you directly.

Hope this helps!
