We have a ticket that had a bad email address and the ticket got spammed with messages. We'd like to remove those comments from that single Jira ticket. Thought we could use ScriptRunner Guardrails : Maximum comments per issue but can't find a way to target a single ticket. Anyone run into this issue? How did you resolve it?
We were able to resolve this using ScriptRunner Guardrails : Maximum comments per issue script. Just need to get the filtering correct.
@Bert Fukuda Welcome, You can do it manually on that ticket if you have the correct permissions.
Check the permission scheme and see if you have the "delete comments" permission granted. on that project.

Yes, permissions are good as we can manually delete a comment. The issue is that there are over 1000 delivery failed comments.

Trying to use ScriptRunner Guardrails : Maximum comments per issue and setting the max command to 100. It finds 2 ticket, one has a legitimate 100 comments. Trying to filter one just the "bad" ticket and not having any luck.
