Hi,
Yesterday I was able to use CSV to import data into existing issues. I was using the 'old way', since it seems like the 'new way' doesn't support multiple projects yet.
I chose "defined in CSV" for multiple projects and everything was working fine as it should. However, today I am missing the option to choose "defined in CSV". Even with the file I uploaded yesterday I cannot regain the option...
I've tested this with a friend of mine in a different jira instance, and they are still able to see the option...
Is there something I'm (suddenly) doing wrong?
Is this a bug?
If you are starting the CSV import from a project issue list this option is not available, you would need to go to the system settings and start the importer from there.
This can only be done by Jira administrators or higher level admins.
That's what I am doing. Yesterday it worked fine. And as mentioned I checked it in a different Jira instance with a friend and it is there for him.

For my instance and others I manage its there to.
Options to check:
If all doesn't give the option back or visible, contact Atlassian Support to check your instance.

Thank you for the tips.
I had already tried a different CSV, including one that I succesfully managed yesterday. But not luck either
However I hadn't tried to use a different browser or incognito mode:
- The incognito mode (of Google Chrome) didn't work either.
- Switching to Microsoft Edge did show me the option however.
I just tried it with a colleague who is also admin and he also misses the option.
I think this must mean that Chrome is the problem here and it isn't a caching problem. I do recall that this morning my Chrome wanted to update...
I suppose I could use a different browser for this specific action, but I hope this isn't a permenant thing...
Thank you for the advice!

Apparently it is a new version of Jira that they are implementing, I recommend you click on this message and you will return to the previous version.

Thank you, but as stated in the original message I am already using the old experience.
I'm not experiencing the bug anymore. I'm not sure what eventually fixed it, may have been browser update or cookies or something...

I just discovered this same problem today, it exists in both Chrome and Edge. Clearing cache, going incognito, and restarting my PC have not resolved it. We did have a Chrome update yesterday but I'm not sure when Edge was last updated.

We had the same issue, updating Chrome on macOS to Version 131.0.6778.86 (Official Build) (arm64) resolved the issue

I've also got the same problem in Edge after thinking Chrome was the problem. However, restarting my pc solved the problem for me in Chrome. I'm not certain that after using it again, the option won't be gone the next day.
