Default org admin group: site-admins vs org-admins

I am preparing for the org admin certification exam. The course specifically states that site-admins is the default group for org admins and gives the historical reason why it is site-admins instead of org-admins. It also has a hint that mentions paying attention to that wording because org-admins could be used to mislead you in exam questions. At least one of the sample questions I saw did just that.

I just created a new org to practice and it looks like they actually changed the group name to org-admins for new organizations. So what should I expect on the exam given that now either of those group names could be correct? Has the exam been updated to use the new group name of org-admins or should I answer questions as if site-admins is the auto-created group that requires at least one user and can't be deleted. Would hate to get  questions wrong because of a feature change that wasn't accounted for in exam questions. Hoping someone here has already found this issue and was able to get a response or an Atlassian team member can provide some clarity.

Hello @Megan Ferguson

The exam will match the training materials.

Changes are rolled out to the Cloud environments continuously, and the training materials are not necessarily up to date with the latest changes.

I attended an Atlassian Community Event where a member of Atlassian's training course preparation team was asked about the discrepancies between what was in the training materials and what was currently being seen in live environments. That person stated that the exam itself will be in lock-step with the associated training materials, regardless of what the current, latest and greatest features are in live environments.

Thank you Trudy. This is so helpful. They should put that statement in all of the training materials. Would probably help eliminate some stress when these discrepancies inevitably happen!

I was also searching for this and noticed this as well in old vs. new Atlassian Cloud organisations. There is an option to comment / give feedback on each exam question.
Just in case there would be both org-admins and site-admins as answer options you could also provide feedback via this option right during the exam.
