I think it is possible definitely. Select Issues in main navigator and set up Issue type schemes. There is also email request. I hope it helps you. Let me know please.

@Szymon Ptak Another way to do it. Just create a new request type with your issue type. Like this. And replace the default email request with it.

Thats smart, but I am actually trying to change the type, because of the fact, when i parametrize the issue i dont want that request type to be visible in the dropdown :
