I just submitted the following to JIRA support but I am wondering if the boards will reply first:
Our system was currently using Default Field Configuration for all issues in all projects.
I created two copies of the Default Field Configuration so that I could create a Field configuration scheme with the (copy of) default and a custom config. I then intended to apply this scheme to one of our sandbox projects to verify it. I edited the custom one so that I could create a field configuration for one specific issue type & screen.
When I was done, I reviewed the other field configurations AND THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROPERTIES NOW!!
When I try to Restore Defaults on Default Field Configuration, NOTHING HAPPENS.
I just broke 28 projects.
Is there information anywhere that shows the default field setup for Default Field Configuration?
