Decode my password

Hello,

I have installed in standalone a jira version 4.3.2. This Jira is connected to a mysql database. I configured several weeks ago absolutly everything but, I don't remember the password.

Is there a way to decode this value which is found in the database?

Not without a vast amount of computing power, or a quantum computer. It's stored securely as a salt and hash (you never store a password in plain text - anyone who tells you otherwise is an idiot).

No, it is not possible to decode your password. This is by design. There is a description of the algorithm here -
