I have tried bulk uploading tickets from excel but I am running into trouble with my start and due dates

I have tried it multiple ways. When I enter dd/mmm/yy, is says the the dates cannot be parsed. however when I switch to mm/dd/yyyy, the dates will load, but every month is changed to January.

Does anyone know what could possibly be happening?

Hi @patrick_sullivan welcome to the Atlassian community.

I'm in the thinking that, you have already considered the below:

  • Jira Date field settings
  • Abbreviated the month ("Jan" for "January)
  • Tested with few Jira tickets instead of bulk

The Jira Importers plugin allows you to import your data from a comma-separated value (CSV) file. Please give it a shot.
