Data retention after Premium trial

Hello all,

I am wondering what is the policy on the data retention for features and configurations in Premium edition of JIRA cloud. We will start the Premium trial period next week, and have it for 30 days.

If in that time we still don't make a decision to stay there and revert back to Standard, will the configurations and issue types like Initiatives, stay somewhere saved, in case we decide to go for Premium a month or few later?

The only thing I found on internet is the standard data retention policy:

  1. Evaluation Licenses: If you’re using an evaluation license, the data is retained for 15 days. After this period, the data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  2. Free Plans: For free plans, the data is retained for 60 days. Similar to evaluation licenses, after this retention period, the data will be permanently deleted.
  3. Standard and Premium Plans: Both Standard and Premium plans retain data for 60 days. Again, after this period, the data will be permanently deleted.

So, if your Jira Premium trial is stopped, the data will be retained for 60 days. If you decide to continue with Jira Premium after the trial, you won’t lose any of your projects or data. However, if you don’t upgrade, the data will be permanently deleted at the end of the retention period2
