Dashboard reporting on kiosk system

Brian Forrest June 7, 2017

Throughout our company, we have kiosk systems that have large monitors hooked up to share information to large groups.  With our JIRA implementation, we currently print out burn down and scoreboard reports and then tape them to the wall.  We would like to broadcast these reports onto the large monitors in a dynamic fashion, but we're not sure how to do this without having a user log into the kiosk system.  Is there a way to pull this data from JIRA without having a user log in?

Hi Brian,

You stated you curently print out reports and tape them to the wall.  You can use the dashboard feature, however, you don't want anyone to have to login.

The dashboard would need to be available to the public in order for no one to have to login.  To Make your dashboard available to everyone, you will need to make sure your project permissions are correct, each of your filters are shared with everyone, and your dashboards are shared with everyone.

Take a look at the Displaying a Dashboard as a Wallboard knowledge base article and see if that works for you.

Cheers,

Branden

Thank you for the reply Branden!  I shared this with one of my JIRA users and they got the charts and graphs to work, but the version and burn down reports still do not display without being logged in.  Are we missing something still?

This will not display unless logged in...burndown.jpg
