Customers, Reporters, Request Participants not getting email notifications

Notifications are not being sent out even though I have configured them as post functions as well as in the notification scheme.

I am having this same issue following an upgrade to 8.13.4 and 4.13.4 on Server.

How do you know that "they are not going out", rather than "not arriving" or "being ignored (spam filter)"?

Have you run an outgoing email test to confirm you can get a basic email given your current sending setup?

You can check  those customers and Request Participants have the Browse Projects Project permission for the project to which the issue belongs; and are members of any issue security levels that have been applied to the issue.

 

Note : Jira can only send email notifications if SMTP email has been enabled
