Hello all,
We are looking for a solution that will provide customer with the ability to edit data in a service desk request. The is an add-on, Actions for Jira Service Desk, however; Deviniti has informed us, via Customer Transition that there are no immediate plans to support Datacenter.
So, we could really use some help as this is a must have for our organization.

Currently, customers can't edit issues through the customer portal. We have some feature requests suggesting the implementation of this ability:
- Edit issue details in customer portal
- Allow Editing of Fields through the Service Desk Request
- Allow users to edit their own comments
- Jira Service Desk should not restrict Project actions

I'm from Deviniti. I would like to inform you that during next sprint we will prepare version for Data Center and send to Atlassian for approval. So, I hope it will be available on the Atlassian Marketplace next month :)

That's how it works in Atlassian world - Jira makes silly limitations and here you are - lots of apps in marketplace that give you what you expect to be in basic functionality. Forgetting to mention that the app will cost you dozens of dollars per user per month.
