I have a large project with several sub-projects (as components) which then have epics with stories and tasks. I want to get reports that can summarize by component and shows target dates and some sort of status. Any suggestions?
You can use VisualScript for Jira to do this. There are many ways to summarize what you are looking for. You can create a grid, and the y-axis are the components. The x-axis are the workflow statuses. In each cell includes epics. In these shapes includes assignee, start/end date custom fields, or whatever Jira fields you want. There will be another icon in there, and that when clicked in the epic, a new visual displays including all linked stories and tasks with whatever fields you would like to see in them.
