Custom Filter for Issue status != Done (not resolution!) does not work

Konstantin Dubiel April 17, 2023

Ahoy,
so this is my custom filter searching for a specific user in different user picker fields which works like a charm.
The only thing that does not work is that i'm not able to remove the issues from that list that are in the Status: "done".
I tried various versions but it never worked.
Any ideas how to get rid of the issues in the Status: "done" ?
+ I don't want to touch the resolution

"assignee = 63ce6e8aa197e05f9dad0d87 OR "Contributor I[User Picker (single user)]" = 63ce6e8aa197e05f9dad0d87 OR "Contributor II[User Picker (single user)]" = 63ce6e8aa197e05f9dad0d87 OR "Contributor III[User Picker (single user)]" = 63ce6e8aa197e05f9dad0d87 OR "Contributor IV[User Picker (single user)]" = 63ce6e8aa197e05f9dad0d87 AND status != Done ORDER BY duedate DESC"

Thanks in advance, Konstantin

AND has precedence over OR, so it binds stronger.

Wrapping in parantheses like so:

(assignee = ... OR contributor = ... OR ...) AND status != Done

... should do the trick, no?
