This seems to be a recent issue for me. I'm creating a custom workflow; as part of this workflow, I want to track who the last person to touch an issue was. Historically I've done this by creating a custom field called "Submitted by," and as a post function I am setting the value of "Submitted by" to be %%CURRENT_USER%% (as prescribed in the tips in the workflow screens). However, the field doesn't actually seem to be capturing the current user no mattter what I do. Any thoughts as to what I'm missing?
Thanks,
Ryan
After some research, it appears that some Jira Suite Utilities functions (e.g. %%CURRENT_USER%%) were broken by the upgrade to Jira 5.x from 4.x. These functions are apparently fixed in JSUtil 1.2.4, which my OnDemand instance has not upgraded to yet.
We have Jira Suite Utils 1.2.4 and the %%CURRENT_USER%% macro isn't working for us.
I guess it's still broken.
