Creation of child issues with AI

I tried the "Suggest child issues" feature that is part of the Atlassian Intelligence.

Starting from a task reporting the minute of a meeting, including several action points, this feature suggests subtasks and automatically generate them filling their summary and description -> see screenshot below.

However, I have noticed that the "Due date" field of each subtask is always empty, even though they were cleary indicated for each action points reported in the original task.

Also, all the subtasks are not assigned to the users indicated for each action points.

Is there any way to get the Due date and Assignee fields automatically filled based on the info reported in the original task for each action point?

Thanks.

Hi @Giampiero Celluprica ,

I believe that this AI feature only fills out Summary and Description fields (for now). As far as I know, there's no configuration option to change that.

You might want to take a look at open suggestions related to this feature. If there's no open one related to your requirement, you can probably reach out to Atlassian Support and discuss this with them. Their staff usually has another scan of open items/suggestions and they might open a new one for you.

Cheers,
Tobi
