Create a alert Window if a filter get new results

Hi,

can i create an alert Window if my filter gets any new results?

The window must be large and pesky.

I am sharing it here mostly because I am interested in tracking the answer to this question. I currently run a subscription on all new support requests and since I tend to close them out quickly, the subscription itself provides the "change," but I don't think that is really what we are seeking here, which would be quite useful.
