Connect Jira to tableau

Is there any free connector between jira and tableau apps?

Is there any others?

Which is the advantages between use a connector instead of connect jira and tableau through their databases? This is another solution, isn't?

I know of a plugin and then some configuration not sure about connecting DBs.

@Laura Vallejo  you can always write a web data connector. For using any third party connector or using any in-house connector you have to keep in mind the points mentioned in the below article, mainly the authentication and performance part!
