Confluence Content box?

Christa Meck October 4, 2024

This box has been randomly appearing for only some users in our Jira Cloud instance:

 ConfluenceContent.png

I have yet to see it,  but this box has lead to several messages from Atlassian saying "XYZ user wants to try Confluence".

We use Confluence Data Center so this box is really causing some confusion for our users.

What is this field and how do I make it never ever appear ever again?

I looked at the same ticket as an end user and he had the box, I didn't.  I'm full Org Admin.

Thanks fam.

Hi @Christa Meck

If a Confluence page has Jira tickets linked within it, those links will also be reflected in the Jira tickets like your screenshot above.

Are you also a full admin in your Confluence Data Center instance? More than likely, you do not have read access to that page or Confluence space.

As far as I know, the only way that field will not appear is if there is no mention of a Jira ticket in a Confluence page or if the integration between the two tools is disabled.

I would recommend trying to train and communicate with the users unless there is really no reason for the tools to be integrated.
