Why can I not find Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant in the find new apps? No matter how I search for it there is nothing. I am trying to figure out out to migrate from Confluence from our newly acquired company to the parent company version of Confluence. However I cannot even get started because on either version there is no such thing as Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant. I am a Site Admin on both instances. Does this app no longer exist? If not then where is the migration assistant located?
Thanks,
Dee
Hello @Dee Boulahanis
I notice you said:
"but when I select download for Cloud (not server) it says it does not exist. "
The Cloud Migration Assistant apps are not intended to be installed on the Cloud applications. Their purpose is to help with the migration of content from an on-premise instance of the product (i.e. Server or Data Center) to a Cloud instance of the product.
There is no reason to install the app on a Cloud instance.
Can you explain what you are trying to accomplish by trying to install the Cloud Migration Assistant app on a Cloud instance?
Hi Dee, check out this link from the Atlassian Marketplace: Confluence Migration Assistant.
Here's another article regarding the CMA: CMA
Hope that helps.

Hey Dan, Thank you for the links unfortunately I have followed those already and are not that helpful.
I am following the steps but there is nothing there in the discover apps (see first two screenshots) Then I followed help link and had to drill like 3 or 4 deep and found the app but when I select download for Cloud (not server) it says it does not exist. I am really not understanding how an app can be called confluence "cloud" migration when it is not available on the the Cloud version??? Does the assistant not exist to migrate data from one confluence cloud instance to another confluence cloud instance??
