I am receiving this issue for a custom field - please advise how to get the field to appear on the issue type - missing this field is stopping work.
Hi @Trena Norcia , The error directs you in what to do. Click on the link "Related Environment..." and add the field to the screen. Let me know if this doesn't resolve your question.
I apologize I am not following - I am trying to fix a project that a different person set up and did not follow the copy from an existing project.
Where on this page will I add the field?

Go to Work Items > Custom fields and find the custom field you're looking for.Click on the three dots (⋯) next to the field name and select "Contexts and default value".
At the top of the page, click "Add context".
Then, choose the project and issue type you want to apply the field to.
Click "Add", and the field will now be available for that configuration.
Check again — the error should be resolved.
