Hi, I am working for an org who already uses Jira and Confluence, but I am looking to broaden its use into proper requirements management.  Tools that it will be compared to are IBM Doors Next Gen, Orcanos and JamaSoftware.

We do have a set of requirements for this tool, but would like to have an honest discussion with some people who know what these other tools are and how Jira/Confluence measures up against them.

cheers

Richard

May I ask what kind of comparison you want to make?

Is it the capabilities, and if so, what capabilities do you prioritize?

Is it integrations and connections to test, then what test tools do you use?

Is it how user-friendly the tools are, then what type of organization are you and what are your users asking for?

Comparisons are difficult without knowing what you need or are most focused on.

I have used Doors in the past. It, and I'm sure the other, are better to manage requirements. They have more robust reporting and traceability to tests.
