Company-Managed Project | Add status to column in Kanban Board

Hello Community Members ... :D

Straight to the point ...  here is my dilema (former Data Center user | new to Cloud)

Add a status to a column in Board Settings

  • I have project admin permissions
  • I updated the board settings, removing all statuses except the most relevant
  • I need to re-add the 'Waiting' status to my Kanban board
  • I cannot find where to re-map the status or even view a list of statuses
    • Once moved to 'Unmapped', they all disappeared.

What I have done

  • Searched all Jira documentation and, of course, Google but all I find is Team-Managed, nothing for Company-Managed.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Is there a Jira Hall of Fame for the best helpers?  There should be!  :D

Hi Jodi,

Welcome to the community and to Cloud! :)

I recommend checking your board under Board Settings > General go to the General tab and look at the filter that the board is using.

It is possible the filter is set up such that it retrieves issues from another project or that are in a subset of the available Statuses, rather than all issues in all statuses.

In that case, the statuses that are not within the scope of the filter would not be available for mapping to columns.
