I have added a code snippet in a Jira issue (see below):
When I save the text box, however, the code snippet doesn't render/display (see below):
This doesn't seem like the intended behavior. I would expect the code snippet to render in a similar way to the preview mode where I typed the content.
It seems to be working now. It must have been a small bug that got resolved quickly.
Hi, @Peter Gebhard - can you post a screenshot of what your field (assuming you're putting this in the Description?) looks like in Edit mode? I'm able to format code in my Description and it renders correctly, but it doesn't look like yours (there are no line numbers.)
I'm wondering how you inserted the code; did you just type it in and then highlight it and select the Code option?
ETA: I also tested it using the Code Snippet insert, and it formats and renders correctly.
