Cloud JIRA application link to On Prem Bamboo

Aron Hansson November 14, 2019

I'm trying to create an application link between our own hosted Bamboo server to the JIRA cloud.

I've whitelisted the IP's that are listed in the following link to allow communication over 443.

The server itself is listening on port 8085.

It is able to create the connection up to JIRA but fails on completing the link in JIRA down to our Bamboo server.

Do I need to reconfigure our Bamboo server port to 443? I've seen conflicting info on these forums that suggests it is unable to work with 8085.

@Aron Hansson

Hi Aron

is your bamboo server ssl terminated (makes use of a ssl cert) or reachable via http.

Cheers

Kurt

Hi Kurt, thanks for the reply. It's running on 8085 at the moment.

I have the SG's now configured to accept connections for that port and still not working.
