Close Epic when iSSUES in the Epic are from different projects and are Done

Lesley Hawkins May 10, 2021

I am having a hard time writing a global (from the other projects that may have an issue in the epic), or single project rule (from the epic project) that closes the Epic when all the issues in the Epic from other projects are done.

Hi @Lesley Hawkins

You probably can do that with a global/multi-project automation rule.  Please post an image of the rule you have tried thus far; that will help the community to give you suggestions.  Thanks!

Best regards,

Bill

Thanks, @Lesley Hawkins

What is happening when you expect the rule to work?  Do you see errors in the audit log?

Have you checked the other projects, with issues in the epic, to confirm that they all finish with a "Done" status?  If the different projects use different status values to represent "done" you would need to test for those as well.
