Hi,
I'm new to Xray ,  we added the Xray extention to Jira .  there is one main project and the Xray underneth the main project.   when I try to clone one of the tests in Testing board it clone it in backlog of the main project and not under Testing board.
How can configure it to open under  Testing Board ?

Hi @Inbal Schwimmer

Simply said the test issue is an issue in Jira,

The Test issue type uses a workflow, just as other issue types

What is the status of the issue after cloning and is that status represented in the Testing Board?

Where are you looking on the testing board, in the Test List section?

Hi, thanks for your answer.
The test is an issue type "Test" and get automatically BackLog status .
all the tests that I open in the "Testing Board"  are with the same status .
In the Test repository, all the tests that I created display there except for the test that I clone from one of the tests in the repository .

Hi @Inbal Schwimmer

There is a difference on Xray status and Status the issue in Jira is in.

Xray uses issue type just like Epic, Story etc.

An issue type in Jira has a workflow and a workflow has statuses.

The Testing Board is a specific Xray function.

Test Status is not the same as the status the issue type is in.

I will say, read the Xray documentation (https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Testing+Board)
