Hi, I would like to find out how to create classification categories on a Jira project to make it simple for an analyst to know which issue they will be working on e.g password reset, student network, etc
would the default Components work for you? It has the advantage of setting a component lead among other benefits.
If they are all the same issue type create a select list with the desired categories. If they are trained JIRA users I suggest making it required upon creation. If not, the person initially assigned can update the field.
