Choose the data storage location "jira cloud"

For a specific need, we want to use JIRA Cloud and for that there is a constraint that our data must not leave the European Union.

I found on your site that you are storing data in Ireland and USA. 

Are we as much as customer, we can choose ourselves storage location of our data? And make sure that our data will not leave the European Union ?

Hi @mahmoudlotfi,

Unfortunately, you will not be able to choose the location of your data storage however the data should be automatically moved to to your nearest data centre (I assume this is Ireland). Atlassian are part of the EU/US Privacy Shield program, which complies with EU and US data protection and consumer privacy.

What you say is correct, here is a paragraph from the GDPR documentation: We don't guarantee that your data will be hosted in a specific location. However, data hosting location determinations are always based on reducing latency and achieving optimal performance for you and your users
