Changing the Assignee in the Edit Screen/view of an Epic issue type ticket does not automatically refresh in the Agile board. The browser has to be manually refreshed to see the change reflected in the ticket.

To reproduce:

The board: Kanban

Issue Type: Epic

1. Create a ticket with the Epic issue type- either select an assignee of]r leave for later

2. Edit the ticket- either add an assignee or change existing assignee

3. Close the Edit screen/view

The assigned icon on the ticket has not changed

4. Refresh the bowser window

Now the change is reflected in the ticket

Hello @Jan Jost

Welcome to the community.

The auto update behavior is something the Jira cloud handles automatically. It is automatically updated for my whenever I make changes.

This is not something your jira administrator can configure from jira.

If you are not observing the automatic behavior, kindly create a support ticket at support.atlassian.com
