I have a team that enters time estimates. I believe they were entered prior to the sprint starting. They want to make some adjustments. The system let's them change it in the Issue, but when you look at the card on the sprint board, it displays the original hours. How can I get the new hours to display correctly? (When I open the card it shows 5 hours which is the new estimate. When I look at the card on the board, it displays 10 hours which is the original hours.)
Hi @Pam Graunke
you can change what you see on the card in the board setting.
When time tracking is set to none, you will see Original Time Estimate. When you change that setting, you will see the Remaining Estimate.
Are you saying that the team is changing the Original estimate or the Remaining estimate? IMO, they should leave OE alone and only update the RE even if the determine that their OE was flawed. That aside, regarding what is displayed, do you want to see how much effort remains on the cards? If so edit the board’s card layout, remove the OE and add the RE. If you in fact do want the OE and you are saying that the team is editing the OE but the cards still reflect the original OE I would find that odd. If this is the case LMK and I will test on my side to see if that occurs.

I'm looking in card layout and don't see don't see either of those fields as added on the card/issue. When I'm looking directly at the card, they have Time Estimate and Time Tracking as fields on the card. When I hover over the time I see in sprint view, it does say Remaining Time Estimate.

again, i'm not 100% sure what your goal/issue is here.

Hi Pam!
Did you set every field? If you change Original Estimate you have to set Remaining Estimate again. It works for me well.
