Hi

When we add a sub-task, Jira assigns an Icon to it as per the Project Setting.

Can we Change a Single Sub-Task Icon to look like a Bug Icon & others will be remained same as per the Project Setting, e.g. DBS-153 will have Bug Icon rather than Default Icon

When Checking the Project Setting, we have the following Icons against Issue Type

Thanks in Advance

Hi @Shahzad Iqbal ,

Welcome to Atlassian community!

Yes this is possible.

Please follow the below steps to change the ICON.

System >> issues >> subtask >> edit >> change the ICON as per the requriment.

Note:- Issue ICON will reflect in all the project where that issue associated and you need admin access

Thanks @Sanjen Bariki

It will Change All Icons of Sub-Tasks. Whereas, I want to have a Single Sub-Task to have Bug Icon while other Sub-Tasks will have same Default Icon

Hi @Shahzad Iqbal ,

In jira issue icon can change globally, you can't change it for a specific project.

For a single subtask, Kindly create a new subtask using the same process and change the icon then associate that in the project. you can rename the subtask but it will affect all the subtask So i would suggest create  a new one and change the icon and associate it.

Hope you got your answer.

Regards,

Sanjen
