Is it possible to change workflow for an existing projetct? The project has items in it. What happens to the items in different states if we change the workflow that doesn't have some of the states that the old workflow has?

Hi @Peter Diephuis,

Yes, you can modify the active workflow. First, you need to make active workflow as an inactive workflow and then you can modify that workflow. After making all changes to the workflow again you need to associate the workflow to the project. Before publishing the workflow it will prompt you to mark the status. Then click on the Associate button. For reference please see the below screenshot.

hello,

It is possible to change a worklfow for an existing project. If a new worklfow does not have the same status, you will be asked to map issues with a missing status to a new available status.
