As or right now our end users are adding change request in Confluence. This is made of a simple table and a text area where they fill in what they need to specify. We also put a link to the JIRA issue if it's going to be developed. But our end users really don't want to browse their Change Requests both in confluence and in JIRA.
We also set the "Status" field in the table in confluence to "To be implemented" / "rejected" etc. Is there anyway this status field could be linked and changed depending on what status the jira ticket has?
Hello @Oscar Reibner
Welcome to the community!!
This use case can be accomplished by using the Jira Macro in Confluence. This can be customized to reflect the required fields including Status, which will be updated as and the Jira ticket status changes. Also, we can even provide a filter to showcase more than 1 issue.
The implementation steps for the macro are reflected in the below screenshots.
