My Project Managers make use of the Change Calendar feature found under the Operations tab in their project. At this time multiple teams enter change requests which fills up the Calendar significantly.
The issue I have is that the calendar becomes confusing for the multiple teams that review it. Because all changes are colored blue there is no way to easily distinguish them between each other. I have been reviewing if there are ways to make a field control what color the changes show on the Change Calendar. So far, I haven't found a solution or third-party app that does this type of color coding.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
Hi John,
I'm Nick from DoitB, and I wanted to share a potential solution to the issue you're facing. Our plugin, Calendar for Jira, offers a feature that allows you to apply conditional color coding to calendar events. This means you can set rules based on fields like project, status, assignee, or other criteria to visually distinguish events on the calendar.
You can find more details about how to configure conditional colors in our documentation here.
