Hi,
We use JIRA to log customer issues. If a ticket is similar to a previous, we link that ticket by relates to.
Is it possible to cascade these links? For example ticket A, is set to relates to ticket B.
A new ticket C is created. I link this to ticket B, but I also have to manually define the link to ticket A. How do I set it so that by link C -> B it automatically links C -> A as well?
Thanks in Advance.
Hello @Geth z
Welcome to the community!!
In order to create a link between Ticket C and A as well, we can leverage Automation.
Do we need to link all issues linked to Ticket B to the newly linked Ticket C or do we want to restrict this to a particular link type? This will help in setting up the Automation.
Hope this helps.

Hi @Gaurav
I have the same requirement. Tickets A and B are linked and if any ticket is linked to ticket C, it should be linked to Ticket A as well. Could you please help me with this?
Thanks in advance!

Hello @Lalithesh Channu
As I understand, the Ticket A is linked to Ticket B, and now if Ticket C is linked to Ticket B, it should be linked to Ticket A. Also, all of the existing tickets linked to Ticket C should be linked to Ticket A as well.
Kindly confirm is this is the expected functionality that is required.
