Cannot use custom field what have Asset values

Hi

How i can use custom field in Jira DC search when right now i get error - customfield is not applicable for the current project and/or issue type.

I read that if it is not available in project then it will not work but right now this field is in every use in issue type and in project where i like to get values.

what i should check more over?

Would you please share the field context and the full basic search criteria.

In general to be able to select this field for searching, you should first match the basic search criteria with the context (project/issue types) to be able to select it.

I add some images. i hope that this is what helps to solve my problem.

There is some AQL behind:

It takes values from Jira Asset. In Asset there is one object Profile where all values is written down. Then there is another object Teenus where is selected needed Profile values into Profiil Customfield.

In order to narrow down the possibilities,

First Check

• Are you able to add field profiil as a column in the view
• Does it show values for all tickets.

Second Check:

• Use advanced mode search and type project=yourprojectkey and type="Service Request" then hit search
• Now go back to the basic mode and try to select the field profiil from the more button and check if it's available.

Hi

I have created Dashboard with Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards and into there i can add this option

With that i can filter out tickets where this Profiil value is filled. Not all tickets have Profiil value filled.

When i make first search with Advanced mode and then add with basic mode Profiil, then i can see options and Profiil show tickets what i have in Profiil values selected.

Now seems to be that this way search will give me tickets.
