Cannot enable backlog and sprint enabling is not visible

Hi!

How do I enable sprints?

Project Settings > Features > Backlog is disabled (cannot enable) and I cannot even see the option to enable sprints in the settings as described in Enable sprints | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support and Enable the backlog | Jira Software Cloud | Atlassian Support.

I have set up the backlog on the kanban board but where do I go from here so I could use sprints?
