Cannot add mentioned in MS Teams

Hi, 

I have enabled Jira cloud app in our project in MS Teams, I was able to see my filtered list, able to add comment, to a JIRA issue, add description however I am not able to use add mentioned in the comment. In fact the add mentioned name on existing comment field does not show up when I view it from Teams however it is working perfectly fine if I go into JIRA directly.

Hi @bee_eo , indeed this is a current limitation. I believe that GDPR is involved here. At the risk of potentially stating the obvious, the userid in Jira is not mapped to the userid in Teams which prevents being able to directly mention users between the two apps. Disclaimer - my focus is mostly in Slack but I believe the issues are the same.
