Cannot add an asset from the calendar

I am using calendar view in a content project. Previously I could add a new asset by clicking the date directly in a calendar view, however, last week this function stopped to work. I can add a new asset only from a board or timeline, etc. How can I fix that?

Thank you, @Ashok Shembde It has always worked as described in the mentioned article. But now, when I go to the calendar, and click any date, nothing happens. There is no a pop-up with new asset.
