Can you use Confluence anchor links in Jira tickets?

When I have an anchor link in Confluence,  I know how to link this on the same page,  or between different section of Confluence,

What I want to do is link a table half way down a long confluence page to a Jira task,

If this is possible,  please where are the instructions

My current solution is to have a  "index " at the top of the page  linked to the anchor for the table,  and referencing the Confluence page in Jira.

Hi Honor, Indeed I think you're solution is the right one. I would style one word in the table row that you'd like to anchor. Then you would place the macro "Table of Content" just to know the name of the anchor. Copy the link that will be displayed in the macro, it should like ......./nameofthepage#nameofanchoredtext

And then you paste this link in a jira story.
