Hi @Ann Rumney

Currently we dont have any specific permission now to restrict users who can add issues to a sprint.

You need to have edit issue and schedule issue permission to add issues to sprint.

This is raised with Atlassian and the issue is gathering interest. You can vote to the issue and lets see when this can get implemented.

you need "Schedule Issues" and "Edit Issues" permissions for adding an issue to a sprint:
