Can you create a subtask from the planning view in a JIRA backlog?
When conducting backlog grooming my team reviews our project backlog from the backlog screen. We often click on an individual story, and view that story in the panel on the right side in the planning view (see attached). As we groom stories we add descriptions, estimations, and subtasks. From what I can tell, there is no way to add a subtask from the planning view of an issue unless there is an existing subtask and you are adding another. This is frustrating because I have to click into the issue detail view to add a subtask, which launches in a new window and is challenging when I am screensharing only a specific tab.
Does anyone know if there is the ability to add a subtask from the planning view in JIRA?
