Working for a large company that has different companies under their umbrella.
They all use Jira, but the other products are on an ad-hoc basis.
Is it possible to attach a bit bucket account to a separate Jira project in a different account?
I believe from a technical standpoint, you are linking either repositories or workspaces. So, yes as long as an admin of both Jira & the BitBucket workspace sets up the application link, that should be possible.
I hope that helps!

Thanks Jimmy! I am in the process of getting the dev team lead to log in to try to give permission. When I tried with the URL for the other account's bitbucket, it failed. I am hoping if he enters the login details it will work and all will be merry. It would be so much easier if bitbucket and jira were on the same company account.
Update: Not working. Failed import.
