Hi

On Jira version(Enterprise Edition, Version: 3.13.2-#335), can we restrict email address visibility for a certain project role?

Though we can hide them for the entire Jira Instance(steps as mentioned below), is there any other way to hide it only to a particular project role?

Global Settings-->General Configuration-->Options--> User email visibility=Changed it to Hidden from Public

thanks

nazia

That's not possible. Users are not constrained to project (although you can use them in project permissions) and so you won't be able to restrict email visibility even by coding!

actually we have certain external group using our Jira instance, hence wanted to restrict them from viewing others' email id.
